Engineering Services Consultant

Located in Westminster, Colorado, SkyeTek transforms RFID into networking technology enabling goods and assets to participate in a connected world. SkyeTek develops readers that serve as intelligent edge devices and software that binds policies to tagged items. By extending networks to the physical world, customers increase revenue through their ability to predict demand, prevent counterfeiting, and personalize user interactions.

SkyeTek combines intelligent software with commodity hardware to provide a distributed policy management engine, modern RFID security model, and transparent wireless network of intelligent, cost-efficient readers. SkyeTek offers its technology in the form of HF and UHF reader modules (SkyeModules) and software (ReaderWare) which customers integrate into their products enabling them to automatically track inventory, authenticate consumables, authorize usage, and auto-configure product settings.

The Engineering Services Consultant will report to Director of Sales East Asia and work closely with the Services Group and Sales in assisting early stage customers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and sales assistance to customer-base in Asia
• Work closely with Engineering to provide novel solutions building on our existing product portfolio
• Create project proposals for the Services Group based on customer interaction.

Qualifications:

• Apply technology to solve real-world problems as evidenced by:
  • Undergraduate/Masters Electrical engineering degree
  • 1 or more years experience in a sales engineering, or product development, or related consulting roles
• Understand / synthesize customer requirements
• Effectively communicate how specific products can satisfy requirements
• Educate prospects that are unfamiliar with new technology
• Ability to speak Korean or/and Japanese a plus

Compensation:

• Commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Estimated ranges:
  • Base:  $40 – 60k
  • Commission:  $20 – 30k
