Product Extends SkyeTek's OEM Line of Tagnostic™, Inexpensive, Low Power, Tiny RFID Reader Modules

Ontario October 11, 2004 – Intelletto Technologies Inc., a designer and manufacturer of RFID based appliances, and SkyeTek, developer and manufacturer of radio frequency identification (RFID) read/write modules, announce a partnership to develop and sell new RFID products for retail point-of-sale and supply chain management applications. Intelletto has already brought to the market a pioneering product, the RFID Multiport Companion, which allows barcode and RFID to co-exist in the same environment and allows a gradual migration path from barcode to RFID. Designed around SkyeTek’s M1 Reader, RFID Multiport Companion makes full use of the four unique qualities of the M1 that SkyeTek calls TILT: it is Tagnostic ™ (capable of reading any manufacturer’s RFID tags), Inexpensive, Low Power and Tiny. The Multiport Companion is the flagship product in a new partnership between the two companies.
